Discover Kvadraturen provides an opportunity to learn more about the district once called Christiania, which is currently the oldest area of Oslo’s city centre. The website presents interesting stories about how Kvadraturen developed, and about the streets and buildings and the people who once used them.

This digital platform was developed specially for hand-held devices, so you can discover Kvadraturen while you’re out and about, exploring the city.

The website is created by the Agency for Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Heritage Management Office in the City of Oslo.
